Henry Earns His Yellow Belt!





Friday, May 26, 2006 Well it is official. Everyone was Kung-fu fighting today when Henry earned his yellow belt in Karate! After a several months of hard work he has earned his first belt along a series of many. Congratulations little buddy.

Nadeau Family Christmas





Well Christmas is here again this year -- early for us in the Nadeau Family as we are dispersed a bit at Christmas, so we get together early for a semi-traditional Polish Wigilia Celebration, which is comprised of seafood dishes, drink and lots of cheer. We even had some traditional Polish Vodka for good measure. Learn more about the celebrations here.

We celebrated Katie's 38th birthday on Friday at Carraba's Italian Restaurant. I of course, slipped in the fact that it was her birthday whilst ordering, and so she got the full-on treatment when it was desert time with a candle and loads of "happy happy birthday" in Italian from the staffers.

I've been wondering for a while why services need to be coupled to the underlying technology on which they are sold. For instance, why must cable TV as a service be bound the the coaxial cable that enters your house, the Satellite TV receiver or the fiber for FioS video? Why not instead, bind the service to the user so that they can get the media they've paid for anywhere, anytime and on any device?
